Dog Groomer (North Perth)

Gentle Paws is looking for a confident and experienced Dog Groomer to join our team in North Perth. We are not a quick, conveyor-belt style salon. We prioritise quality over quantity, dog wellbeing over speed, and creating a calm, supportive setting for both dogs and staff. About the Role You will be responsible for:
- Full grooms from start to finish (bath, dry, clip, scissor finish)
- Breed-specific and pet trims
- Safe handling of dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Maintaining a clean and organised grooming space
- Communicating professionally with clients about coat condition and grooming plans
- Working independently while also being a supportive team member Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hands-on grooming experience
- Confident completing full grooms independently
- Strong scissoring skills
- Knowledge of coat types and grooming techniques
- Gentle handling and patient approach
- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
- Ability to manage time without compromising quality Certificate II or III in Animal Care or Grooming is highly regarded but not essential if experience is strong. What We Offer
