Hospitality Food & Beverage Manager (Perth)

Job purpose: Join the team at Optus Stadium and play a pivotal role in delivering world-class experiences. As our Hospitality Food & Beverage Manager, you will lead the delivery of exceptional food and beverage services across premium hospitality, retail and function spaces, ensuring outstanding customer experiences, operational excellence and achievement of financial and service performance targets. In this role you will:​
- Lead hospitality food and beverage operations across premium hospitality, retail and function spaces at Optus Stadium.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences through high service standards and a strong ‘Fans First’ culture.
- Manage event and non-event day operations, including staffing, service delivery and operational logistics.
- Monitor and achieve financial, labour and service performance targets and KPIs.
- Manager and develop a team of Assistant Managers and Floor Managers through training, coaching and performance management.
- Liaise with clients, hirers and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored food and beverage experiences.
- Support stock control, inventory management and cost control initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across hospitality operations and guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety and operational standards. To be successful, you will have:
- Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia (no restrictions on hours or working for the same employer).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a catering or food & beverage service delivery role.
- Tertiary qualifications in hospitality, event or other similar discipline (desirable).
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Demonstrated operational understanding of the food & beverage, hospitality and catering industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, including robust written, verbal, and numerical literacy.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly master new software and systems.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality results.
- A willingness to work flexible hours around events. While the standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, the nature of the event industry means you will be required to work outside these hours, especially during events held at Optus Stadium and Stadium Park. What we offer:
