Freelance Event Manager (Perth)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and creative **Event Manager** to oversee the production of a high-profile themed dining experience in the heart of Perth. This role requires a professional who can bring together design, entertainment, venue coordination, and guest experience into a seamless, memorable evening.

Key Responsibilities
- **Creative & Production Oversight**:

- Lead and coordinate with designers, decorators, and stylists to ensure the event theme is brought to life.
- Manage the aesthetic direction, ensuring all elements align with the vision and brand.
- **Entertainment & Program Management**:

- Source, hire, and manage entertainers, performers, and MCs.
- Create and oversee the event running order, ensuring smooth transitions and a energetic guest experience.
- **Venue & Stakeholder Liaison**:

- Act as the primary contact with the host hotel/venue.
- Manage contracts, logistics, and compliance with venue policies.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and partners.
- **On-the-Day Leadership**:

- Oversee setup, rehearsals, and live event execution.
- Manage event staff, suppliers, and performers to ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure guest experience is of the highest quality, from arrival to departure.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in event management, ideally with large-scale dining or hospitality events.
- Strong creative vision and eye for detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and multiple suppliers simultaneously.
- Calm under pressure, with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Availability to be on-site in Perth CBD from planning stages through event completion on **29 November 2025**.

Contract Details
- Contract role with immediate start for planning and lead-up.
- Competitive project-based remuneration, commensurate with experience.

Pay: $28.21
- $33.97 per hour
