Trainer, Cert Iii In Laboratory Skills Perth

Health Science Hub (RTO 52806) is looking for new team members who are interested in working in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector.

We can only consider applicants with:

A completed Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Skills/Techniques with 1 years of work experience, or

A completed Undergraduate degree in Science or similar with 1 year work experience in a laboratory environment.

We are looking for additional trainers for our Perth Campus during school terms 2 & 3 for 1 day per week (Friday).

Be comfortable in front of students and display the confidence to explain and deliver the required content.

Ability to Run practical activities that engage students in the qualification content.

Ability to understand the qualification assessments to ensure assessments can be explained accurately, linked to the content and student guidance provided.

Be interested and able to work with year 11 & 12 high school students.

Have an ability to use technology in the classroom. This includes a learning management system, tablets, apps, and be willing to learn current skills.

Work within a team as well as autonomously.

Manage change and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $30.00
- $38.00 per hour
