About the role We are seeking an experienced Welding & Fabrication
- Business Unit Manager to join our team at Fremantle Foundry & Engineering Co Pty Ltd in Henderson, WA. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in the strategic direction and operations of our welding and fabrication business unit. What you'll be doing

- Provide leadership and management to the welding and fabrication team, ensuring high quality and productive project delivery.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability for the welding and fabrication unit.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and resources required for welding and fabrication projects.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting continuous learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other business units to deliver integrated solutions for our clients. What we're looking for

- Extensive experience (8+ years) in a welding and fabrication management or leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in welding and fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proven track record of successful project management and business development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field would be highly regarded.
