This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, ****. The School Ocean Reef Senior High School (SHS) was the Excellence in Teaching and Learning – Secondary category winner in the **** WA Education Awards. The Role We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and passionate teacher for Media Arts and Photography, with flexibility to deliver a variety of offerings across the Arts learning area. You would have the opportunity to shape creative curriculum pathways that offer students relevant and engaging learning experiences from Year 7
- 12. The capacity to deliver certificate qualifications is highly valued. As an Arts teacher, you would deliver a differentiated curriculum that promotes the achievement of all students to reach their potential. Responsibilities include: Facilitating engaging lessons across Media Arts and Photography for Years 7-12. Designing and implementing a differentiated curriculum aligned to standards. Delivering certificate qualification outcomes when applicable. Fostering positive relationships with students, staff and families. Engaging in reflective practice and whole‐school pedagogical approaches. Managing classrooms effectively and promoting an active, positive learning setting.
