Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Mediation Coordinator …, Perth

We are seeking an experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner to oversee and coordinate our mediation and facilitated dispute resolution service. This role combines service coordination, compliance, accreditation management, client support, and community engagement, while also providing FDRP support when required. This is a 12-month contract full-time position with the potential for extension. Working closely with the CEO, Mediation Coordinator and mediation panel, the successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality, client-focused mediation services and ensure compliance with professional and accreditation standards.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the mediation service
- Undertake pre-mediations, mediations, file reviews, and suitability evaluations as required
- Support and coordinate the mediation panel and training program
- Maintain RMAB registration and accreditation compliance requirements. Assist with reporting, rosters, data management, and administrative functions
- Liaise with external agencies and provide community education activities
- Assess and manage child safety and family risk concerns appropriately Skills & Experience
- Current FDRP Registration
- Experience in family dispute resolution and intake/suitability assessments
- Strong understanding of mediation frameworks and risk assessment
- Excellent communication, organisational, and case management skills
- Ability to balance operational and clinical responsibilities

- Four weeks of annual leave, with an additional Christmas closure period not deducted from your leave balance. This position attracts remuneration above a standard FDRP role due to the coordination, operational, compliance, accreditation, training, and service management responsibilities attached to the position. While the primary focus of the role is the coordination and management of the mediation service, the successful applicant will also be required to undertake FDRP duties, including pre-mediations and suitability assessments, when required to support service delivery.
