Are you passionate about delivering high-quality insurance advice and building strong client relationships? As an Insurance Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted advisor to a portfolio of government agencies. You’ll provide expert insurance guidance, develop and maintain strong client relationships, and manage the full insurance renewal cycle. Your work will directly support the delivery of essential services across the WA Government. You’ll be part of a team-oriented team that values your expertise and supports your growth. We offer ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring to help you thrive in your role. Part-time opportunities will also be considered This is a 12-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. The Person To be successful in this role you bring strong capability in insurance advisory, client relationship management, and the ability to analyse complex information to deliver practical solutions. You have a solid understanding of insurance principles and commitment to maintaining current knowledge of industry developments. You are confident in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, and can clearly communicate technical insurance concepts both verbally and in writing. You will be a proactive, organised and team-oriented professional who delivers high quality service, demonstrates attention to detail, and shows a commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing learning. About Us The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government. The Insurance Commission generated $1.4 billion in revenue over six months to 31 December 2025 and holds nearly $9.7 billion in assets, making it a major self-funded statutory authority.
