**Our Opportunity**: **Fire Suppression Technician**

**Work Location**:Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of thee Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

**Roster**: 7 days, 7 nights, 7 off
- FIFO ex. Perth and Busselton

Working with a diverse team reporting to the maintenance Services Supervisor, your role will be required to maintain all the HME fire suppression systems, both in a planned and breakdown scenario. All works will be required to comply with Fortescue’s safe working practices and to industry standards. In addition, you will be required to perform additional trades assistant type tasks within the Mobile maintenance department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install and maintain all the HME fire suppression systems
- Diagnose and repair system defects
- Provide documentation of all system defects and repair methods carried out
- Raise notifications to assist with system maintenance
- Complete trade assistant type tasks within workshop infrastructure compliance/maintenance
- Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed
- Adapting to current technologies

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience installing, diagnosing, and repairing Fire Suppression systems (e.g. rise of pressure & loss of pressure systems)
- Sound knowledge of different Fire Suppression systems
- i.e. Muster, Striker, Fogmaker, Worlmald & FSI
- Certificate II Fire Suppression System
- Capable of working safely in a team and autonomously
- Experience in computer based maintenance systems
- SAP desirable
- EWP, working at heights, Rigging, Forklift and confined space training desirable
