Gardener / Handy Person (Perth)

Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services to clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services and social support.

As a **Gardener / Handy Person**, you will be providing our clients with gardening services within their homes in the South Perth Metro area. We cover areas working from **Cockburn, Samson, Gosnells** and all the suburbs in between. This role works across all these locations.

This rewarding position will fulfil your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service within aged care, and giving something back to the community.

This role is being offered on a **Permanent Full Time basis working Monday
- Friday from 8:00am
- 4:00pm.**

You will have commuting use of a Bethanie work vehicle and a trailer with tools which you can bring home each evening or pick up from our Port Kennedy facility each day.

Our Community base is located in Port Kennedy so there will be the requirement to travel to this location on the odd occasion but travel mileage will be covered.

**About You**:

- Skills and experience in a wide range of handyperson tasks and garden maintenance
- Current **_manual drivers licence_**, and ability to drive with a trailer
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate to clients and staff
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Ability to identify work place safety, and operate in a safe manner
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
- Willingness to obtain vaccinations (minimum of 3 COVID 19 vaccinations and annual flu vaccination)
