Site Engineer (FIFO) - Civil/Geotechnical (Perth)

With over 100 years of experience and offices globally, we work on projects which are diverse both geographically and technically. The Role Knight Piesold's head office in Australia is in Perth, Western Australia. We are looking for a number of Site Engineers to work on our international site-based projects. The Site Engineer will travel to site from their home base. The Site Engineer is responsible for:
- Overseeing and managing the construction of tailings dams on site;
- Quality control and assurance, including soil / laboratory testing; and
- Supporting the successful implementation and delivery of project scope. Our Ideal Candidate The successful candidates will ideally have:
- Degree qualification in Engineering with either Geotechnical or Civil specialisations;
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience within the mining industry and experience with tailings dam or earth fill dam construction would be advantageous;
- Minimum of 1 year working on overseas projects on a Fly In / Fly Out (FIFO) roster;
- A strong understanding of earthworks QA/QC requirements;
- Excellent communication and reporting skills;
- A proven track record on site project management / supervision and client liaison and able to demonstrate ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders; and
