- your industry experience could help them take that next step. If you’ve built solid hands‑on skills and enjoy showing others how it’s done, this is your chance to make a genuine impact. What you’ll do As a Sessional Trainer in our Training U For Work team, you will:
- Plan and deliver short, hands‑on training that builds practical skills, workplace readiness, and learner confidence while supporting diverse learners
- Manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning workplace You may deliver training in your area of expertise, including:
- Digital & Business Skills – computer basics, digital literacy, customer service, retail, business support
- Hospitality – bar and gaming service, café and casual dining, food production essentials
- Cleaning & Housekeeping – commercial cleaning, health and hygiene, housekeeping
- Horticulture – entry‑level practical horticulture skills
- Construction & Renewable Energy – construction sector essentials, workplace safety, solar readiness

- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) – Essential
- Recent hands‑on industry experience in your area of expertise (relevant qualification(s) desirable)
- A collaborative, organised, people‑focused approach
- Confidence using basic technology for reporting and materials (Canva experience a bonus) Additional requirements
- Travel across Perth metro and regional WA (typically Bunbury and Busselton).
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle to transport equipment, plus the ability to lift up to 20kg.
- Positive, solutions‑focused approach when working with people from all backgrounds.
- (You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
