Estimator Switch room (Perth)

About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Switch room Estimator responsible for accurately pricing and scoping electrical switch room projects, requiring cross-disciplinary knowledge of electrical systems (LV & MV), building design, structural requirements, and construction methodologies. Duties
- Review electrical designs for LV/MV switch rooms and related systems.
- Coordinate structural, civil, architectural, and HVAC requirements within switch room designs.
- Prepare and interpret technical drawings, SLDs, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Support construction and installation activities by ensuring practical and compliant designs.
- Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, cost estimates, and project risk assessments.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in electrical engineering and switch room/project design environments. (Essential)
- Experience with LV/MV systems, Switchboards, transformers, protection systems.
- Ability to Interpret SLDs and Technical specification standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Trade License with assembly and estimating experience. Benefits
