- Remote, Category: Other Salary: Apply for details Country: Australia Employment: Contract Worksite: On-Site Apply For This Position Job Title: Consulting Pediatric Specialist (VABS / PEDI) Location: Australia (Remote) Contract Type: Part-Time Consultant / Project-Based Contract Contract Length: 12 Months Industry: Clinical Research / Pediatrics / CNS Overview An international clinical research organisation is seeking experienced Consulting Pediatric Specialists to support remote assessment activities across ongoing pediatric and neurodevelopmental clinical research studies. This is a fully remote, project-based consulting opportunity suited to clinicians with robust hands-on experience administering Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (VABS) and/or Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory (PEDI) assessments within pediatric, developmental, rehabilitation, or neurodevelopmental settings. Consultants will support remote clinical interviews, assessment administration, scoring activities, and quality review processes as part of ongoing clinical research programs. Key Responsibilities
- Remotely administer VABS and/or PEDI assessments and related clinical interviews
- Conduct subject and caregiver interviews via telehealth platforms
- Complete assessment scoring and supporting documentation accurately
- Participate in training, calibration, and quality review activities
- Support consistency and quality standards across assessment delivery Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience administering VABS and/or PEDI assessments
- Background within Pediatrics, Child Development, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Rehabilitation, or related areas
- Fluent English communication skills
- Based in Australia or able to support Australian studies remotely
- PhD, PsyD, MD, MBBS, Occupational Therapy qualification, or equivalent clinical qualification
- Prior experience within clinical research, healthcare, academic, or hospital environments preferred
- Comfortable working with remote assessment and telehealth platforms
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Additional Information
