In these positions, you won’t just be supporting processes, you’ll be shaping them. You’ll apply your knowledge of compliance to relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Australian Signals Directorate’s mission. The National Partnerships Branch is looking to fill multiple roles located within the Partnership State Offices, National Partnerships Program Office, and Strategy Unit. Partnership State Offices are responsible for creating and maintaining engagement relationships with industry. National Partnership Program Office are responsible for the overall coordination of the cyber security partnership program, project management and data analytics. The National Partnerships Strategy Unit provides strategic support for the National Partnerships Branch, including supporting ASD Senior Executives’ engagement with key industry partners and Boards, as well as managing the National Cyber Security Committee and ASD’s involvement in it. The roles will include supporting the delivery of national events, undertaking data analysis, assisting with high-profile and fast-paced policy and program work, as well as secretariat support. Working under limited direction, they manage moderately complex tasks, support effective decision-making and help ensure operational continuity across the organisation. They also have: Have accountability for completion of allocated tasks, organising workflow, review of work and development of less experienced employees Have a good understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks Laise with internal and external stakeholders on moderately complex operational and administrative matters. Identify issues and contribute to the resolution of issues and problems Resolve moderately complex enquiries from stakeholders and provide information and advice as a representative of the work area. Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships within defined parameters. Represent the work area at internal and external meetings and conferences. ASD 6 Officers at this level manage more complex work, contribute specialist advice and exercise greater independence. They may coordinate small teams or work programs and play a key role in driving improvements, managing risks and supporting strategic outcomes. They also have: An ability to make independent, well-reasoned decisions within defined parameters. Experience preparing high-quality written submissions, briefs and corporate reports. Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability, including risk assessment and recommendations. Strong ability to prioritise and manage resources in energetic and quick-paced environments. Proactive coordination that supports the efficiency and effectiveness of broader teams.
