Electrical Project Engineer – Parron Wind Farm Lead electrical engineering on a landmark 330kV wind farm project driving Australia's clean energy shift. Genus is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team and support delivery of the Parron Wind Farm project. We have been engaged to deliver Design & Construct high‑voltage infrastructure works, including electrical and civil works associated with a 330kV High‑Capacity Western Power Transmission Terminal Station. This greenfield renewable energy project requires strong technical capability, coordination, and stakeholder engagement, along with a commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in a high‑voltage construction environment. What you’ll do
- Interpret and apply client scope, technical specifications, and engineering documentation
- Prepare and review electrical work packs including MDRs, ITPs, drawings, ITRs, JSAs and SWMS
- Support construction verification, turnover/handover packages, and design milestone management
- Conduct site inspections to ensure design intent is met and resolve constructability issues
- Review electrical engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with standards and contract requirements
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and clients to resolve technical queries promptly
- Prepare red‑line mark‑ups and maintain accurate as‑built documentation About you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical project engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methodologies, QA/QC processes, and engineering documentation
- Ability to interpret drawings, scopes of work, and technical specifications
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a cohesive project team
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with drafting/engineering software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks)
