- Traveller Review Award 2026 The Role We’re seeking a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Julio’s Italian Restaurant. Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes while supporting and mentoring junior kitchen team members. What You’ll Do
- Lead the kitchen during service and manage daily kitchen operations
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
- Support and mentor more junior Chefs and kitchen team members
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Assist with stock control, prep, and minimising wasteUphold Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards in all aspects of kitchen operations What We Need From You
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie
- Commercial Cookery qualification or equivalent experience
- Have an understanding and interest in Italian cuisine including knowledge of food trends and cooking techniques
- Solid organisation, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays (the ideal candidate will have 4 days availability)
- Must have legal right to work in Australia
