Civil (Drainage) Engineer Perth, WA Full-time Join Our Team as a Civil (Drainage) Engineer! We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specialising in Drainage to join our team. This role focuses on the design and delivery of drainage infrastructure for roads, highways, and active transport projects, ensuring sustainable and compliant outcomes. Our team combines practical design experience with a strong client focus. Responsibilities
- Undertake the design of stormwater drainage systems for road and highway projects, including active transport infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct hydraulic modelling and drainage impact assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate drainage solutions within broader civil engineering projects.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities to manage project requirements and approvals.
- Contribute to project management activities including scope, schedule, and budget control. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in drainage design, preferably within roads and highways sector.
- Proven expertise in hydraulic modelling software (e.g., XP Drainage, StormCAD, DRAINS, HEC‑RAS).
- Strong knowledge of Australian drainage design standards and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current Australian engineering registration (e.g., CPEng) preferred. Benefits
