**The Position**: Maali Group is seeking expression of interest from applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander for the position of Electrical Apprentice based in Perth.

The engagement of this position is intended to constitute a special/equal opportunity measure under the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA). The position/s is/are therefore only open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants.
- Will be punctual, motivated and organised with good communication skills
- Will have a Year 10 pass or higher. Ideally having a competency in mathematics and a high aptitude in theory and practice
- Will have a genuine interest in working in the Electrical Industry
- Will have a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude
- Will hold or be willing to obtain Construction Induction Safety Cert (white card)

**Essential Requirements**:

- Driver’s License (“P” Plate okay)
- Able to work within a team environment
- Able to take direction and use initiative
- Comfortable working at heights
- Primary focus and personal responsibility on Health and Safety

**Highly Regarded**:

- Cert II in Electrotechnology or prior experience will be preferred but not essential
- Working at Heights certificate
- White Card
