**Our Opportunity**: **Location**: Perth, Western Australia

**Roster**: 4D/4RNR/4N/4RNR (12-hour shifts)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team in a full time capacity. The Security Officer will be responsible for providing tactical personnel support and ensuring the safety and security of our employees and visitors to our facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized access to suspicious activity
- Monitor and operate security systems and equipment, including CCTV cameras and alarms
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
- Provide support to the operational team by implementing security protocols and procedures
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to security operations
- Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Assist in the development and implementation of security plans and risk assessments
- Provide excellent customer service while always maintaining a professional demeanor.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Cert II Security Officer is desirable
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or as a Control Monitoring Room Operator would be preferable in a tactical or personnel support capacity
- Cert III in Investigations, Cert II CPO, Cert IV Security Management/Risk Analysis are advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick, sound decisions
- Proficient in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV monitoring and access control
- Physical fitness and the capability to perform patrol duties for extended periods
- Understanding of emergency response procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred.
