**About the role**

The Coordinator Business and Operations Support operates under the National Manager, Finance and Enterprise Support/Chief Financial Officer to ensure that all operational and business support functions within the North Operations and South Operations model are effectively managed and are positioned to support and enable the overall mission of the ACIC.

The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Operations and Business Support Officers in North Operations / South Operations and works closely with the Supervisor, Operations and Business Support. This position is responsible for allocating resources effectively in order to support successful operational outcomes for ACIC projects and taskings. The business unit has a diverse range of responsibilities including business / facilities management, operational checks and requests, including dealing with cash and exhibits.

- Possesses strong team management skills, including the ability to coordinate resources effectively, as well as demonstrated experience in implementing sound workplace organisational practices
- Displays and maintains well-developed organisational, problem solving and project management skills, with the ability to understand and improve business processes
- Has developed oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills and is able to develop effective working relationships to impact change
- Delivers results and thrives working in a agile, fast-paced work environment
- Has skills in use a range of information and communication technology (ICT) systems (including the Microsoft office suite) and have the ability to learn new ICT systems and processes as required.

**Eligibility**
- **Citizenship -** To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
- **Security Clearance -** The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
