Hospitality Trainer and Assessor (Perth)

**McIver College** is seeking an experienced **Trainer & Assessor for Diploma of Hospitality** **Management** qualifications to join our team on a casual basis working with international students.

**About the Role**: Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

- Provide high quality course relevant information to enrolled students
- Plan, develop, and deliver training programs for students enrolled in the Diploma of Hospitality Management Course
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of teaching resources and learning materials
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and assessment in accordance with McIver College policies and procedures
- Monitoring student progress, providing appropriate feedback to students where required
- Undertake teaching related administrative duties, including accurate recording of student rolls
- Participating in professional development programs, meetings, and other activities organised for staff
- Reporting any non-compliance with OH&S;, EEO or any other statutory regulations to the Manager as soon as practical first aid treatment when necessary

**About You**: As an integral member of staff you'll bring your industry experience along with:

- Passion about sharing knowledge and fostering the next generation of hospitality professionals, you are committed to delivering engaging and practical training that equips students with the skills and confidence to excel in the hospitality industry
- Availability to work Monday, Tuesday and half day Wednesday
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with hospitality industry (Chef, Hotel Manager, etc.)
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Relevant industry qualification or equivalent
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Clear and effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management & organisational skills
- Full Australian working rights
