Product Support Officer (West Perth)

We are looking for a proactive individual to join RAC Insurance in the Product and Sales team as a Product Support Officer. Reporting to the Product Support Team Leader, this position provides RAC Insurance product support and policy advice across all RAC Insurance sales and distribution channels.

This is a great way to extend your knowledge of the end-to-end insurance process and be exposed to decision making around products, policies and product development.

This role will be offered on a Contract or Secondment basis for a period of 12months, with the potential of extension and/or permanency.

What’s the role:
- Enable a consistent RAC insurance policy and enquiries service to members and business units-
- Assist with processing policies, policy amendments and policy exception reports-
- Handle referrals from RAC Group sales and member service staff, claims staff and members-
- Interpret insurance coverage, disclosure and insurance risks-
- Liaise with members to action processing of reports-
- Assisting in the complaint management process-
- Ensure the financial status of policies are maintained and up to date-
- Build strong knowledge of all recent and existing RAC insurance products and services-
- Be involved in specific projects supporting the business-
- Engage with and build relationships with internal stakeholdersWhat we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of insurance products and policies-
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Insurance policy admin role is desirable-
- Strong relationship building skills with exceptional customer service and the ability to work in a team environment-
- Solid data processing and administrative capability, along with “tech savviness”-
- Highly organised and a strong attention to detail-
- Confident decision maker and proven problem solver-
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment with a diverse workload-
- Enthusiastic, motivated and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to different ways of doing things-
