Fortescue’s Chichester hub is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.Roster: Monday-Friday transitioning to 8/6The Energy Operations Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing high-quality maintenance work plans that enable secure, productive and effective execution of maintenance activities across generation and transmission assets.Reporting to Senior Planner & Scheduler (Energy Operations), this role works closely with execution teams to ensure work scopes are accurate, practical and fully prepared to minimise rework, delays and risk.Key Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Develop detailed and executable maintenance work plans and job packs

Engage with supervisors and trades to validate scope accuracy and practicality

Ensure labour, materials, tooling and contractor requirements are clearly identified

Support execution teams during work delivery to resolve scope or planning issues

Maintain high-quality work management data within SAP

Performance Expectations

Work orders are fully scoped and ready prior to scheduling

Minimal rework due to incomplete planning

Positive feedback from execution teams regarding plan quality

Accurate and complete SAP data

Continuous improvement in planning quality and efficiency

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

Experience in maintenance planning within power generation or heavy industry

Strong SAP planning capability

Understanding of asset reliability and maintenance strategies

Ability to collaborate effectively with execution teams

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Commitment to safety and compliance

Desirable

Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification

Experience in gas-fired power station operations
