Location This position will be based offshore in Australian waters with occasional opportunities internationally. Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking meals while supervising catering crew and menu planning.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene across galley, fridges, freezers, storage areas, and mess rooms.
- Communicate effectively with all crew and demonstrated commitment to working safely according to the company’s regulations. Qualifications
- Hold a current Marine Cook certificate of proficiency.
- Previous experience working offshore on a vessel.
- Nationally recognised food hygiene certificate (for meal preparation and stores).
- Strong focus on Health, Hygiene, Safety and Environmental practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with intermediate computer skills and knowledge.
- Highly service minded and solution oriented.
- Ability to travel at short notice with Australian Work rights.
