That’s how we continue to achieve extraordinary things in extraordinary locations.**Job description:****Analyst, Group HR Systems**Responsible for the **configuration, optimisation and ongoing support of the Workday platform**, ensuring it meets business, functional, and technical requirements, and translating business needs into scalable Workday solutions.**Functional Configuration*** Configure and maintain Workday SKUs* Partner with Group and Site HR and IT and other stakeholders to fix technical issues.* Support business users with: + Change requests + Issue resolution + Impact analysis of configuration changes* Attend knowledge transfers at end of each project implementation.* Maintain functionality and ensure they’re optimized meeting business needs.**Technical Development*** Support integrations for performance and escalate failures to IT when needed: + EIBs + Core Connectors + Custom RaaS and EIB inbound/outbound solutions* Monitor and ensure secure data transfer and compliance with privacy and security standards**Reporting & Data*** Develop and maintain: + Advanced custom reports + Calculated fields + Dashboards and composite reports* Support regulatory, payroll, and management reporting requirements* Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Workday* Assist with audits, reconciliations, and data validation activities**Operational / Business Support*** Provide L3 and L4 support for Workday issues* Investigate root causes and implement permanent fixes**Key Skills & Experience*** Proven experience supporting Workday in a functional and/or technical capacity* Strong understanding of Workday configuration concepts* Experience with: + Business process frameworks + Security model + Reporting and calculated fields* Good understanding of integrations* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills* Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills**Qualifications*** Degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience* Relevant Workday training or certifications (HCM and Reporting)* Experience working in (preferred) + Large enterprise or complex environments + Multi‐country* Prior experience in HRIS, ERP, or enterprise systems (preferred)* Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements (preferred)Visit our website and register for instant job alerts atFollow us for the latest news atIf you are already a First Quantum employee, log into your **Workday** account > **Career Hub** > **Browse Jobs** to apply internally for this prospect.We are well-known for our ‘can do’ attitude and specialist technical, project management, engineering, construction and operational skills, which allow us to develop and successfully run complex mines and minerals processing plants.
