- $90,000 Super We are seeking a customer-focused, organised and experienced Tenancy & Property Officer to assist and support our client across Western Australia. You will assist with tenancy management, property coordination, customer service, maintenance follow up and stakeholder engagement within the disability housing sector. This position will be the main point of contact for residents living within Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties and will ensure customers receive responsive, person-centred support across tenancy and property related matters. Experience working across tenancy management, housing, property management or community services is essential to be successful in this position. This role is work-from-home based with regular travel across your allocated region to conduct inspections, attend properties, support customers and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. You will be joining a collaborative national team committed to delivering positive housing outcomes for people living with disability. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tenancy and property related enquiries across a residential portfolio
- Conduct routine property inspections, site visits and customer check-ins
- Support lease sign ups, onboarding and customer move ins
- Monitor rent payments and follow up arrears in a supportive and solutions focused manner
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests with contractors and customers
- Liaise with support providers, allied health professionals, family members and stakeholders
- Conduct property viewings and open homes to support occupancy outcomes
- Maintain accurate file notes, customer records and tenancy documentation within CRM and property systems
- Manage complex tenancies with empathy, professionalism and strong problem-solving skills
- Build positive relationships with customers and advocate for robust tenancy outcomes Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience working within tenancy management, property management, housing or community services
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of tenancy legislation and residential property processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor engagement
- High attention to detail and strong administration capability
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and property management systems
- Ability to work independently within a remote environment
- Empathetic, resilient and person-centred approach when supporting vulnerable customers
- Willingness to travel across the allocated region as required
