Exploration Geologist – WA Goldfields | WA Pilbara Black Cat Syndicate Limited is a dynamic and fast-growing Australian resources company with operating assets at Kal East and Paulsen's, alongside a highly prospective exploration portfolio across Western Australia. We are seeking an Exploration Geologist to join our team and contribute across a range of exploration activities within our Western Australian operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a technically driven environment, supporting the advancement of high-quality mineral projects from early-stage exploration through to resource definition. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate and review exploration programs including drilling, geological mapping, surface sampling and data interpretation. Contribute to geological targeting, interpretation and resource growth opportunities across multiple projects. Work collaboratively with geology, drilling, environmental, geotechnical and metallurgy teams to deliver safe and effective exploration outcomes. Maintain high standards of geological logging, sampling quality and database integrity. Assist with geological modelling and interpretation to support exploration and development decisions. Ensure geological risks and opportunities are identified and communicated throughout project activities. About You The successful candidate will ideally possess: A tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Sciences. Experience in mineral exploration, preferably within Western Australia. Exposure to RC and/or diamond drilling programs and field-based exploration activities. Robust geological logging, sampling and data interpretation skills. Familiarity with geological software packages such as Leapfrog, Micromine, Surpac or similar. The ability to work effectively in remote environments and within collaborative, high-performing teams. A hands‑on attitude with strong communication and problem‑solving skills. A current WA Driver’s Licence.
