Security Technician (Perth)

About the role Dielectric Security is a well established Western Australian security Integrator, seeking a talented and dedicated Security Technician to join our team in Perth, WA. As a Security Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems, ensuring the safety and security of our valued clients. What you'll be doing 1. Install, configure, and maintain a variety of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems 2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with security equipment, and perform necessary repairs and upgrades 3. Provide on-site support and training to clients, ensuring they can effectively operate and maintain their security systems What we're looking for 1. Minimum 4 years of experience in the security industry, with a focus on the installation and maintenance of security systems 2. Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems 3. Robust problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues 4. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues 5. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards, such as Australian Standards for security systems 6. A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required 7. A positive attitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work What we offer We offer
