- Flexibility around hours and potential future travel Our easy-going and warm Northbridge family is seeking a nurturing, proactive, and engaging nanny to support the care of their bright and active 6-month-old daughter. Mum works full-time from home and remains very hands-on throughout the day, creating a collaborative and supportive environment for the nanny. The family enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle including walks, rhyme time at the library, singing, reading, and creative play, and they are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with children in a calm, positive, and development-focused way. The role will primarily focus on play, activities, outings, and supporting her development as she grows. The family would love the nanny to help come up with creative ideas for play and development, while creating a calm, engaging, and nurturing environment. During nap times, light child-related household duties such as children’s laundry, folding, dishwasher unpacking and tidying toys. The family values healthy living, open communication, positivity, and a calm household environment. They would love a nanny who is observant, creative, proactive, fun, and genuinely enjoys being part of a long-term family workplace. Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Engaging baby in age-appropriate play, singing, reading, and activities
- Supporting developmental play and routines
- Outdoor walks and outings
- Preparing children’s meals/snacks as solids are introduced
- Maintaining organisation of toys and play spaces
- Children’s laundry and light child-related household support
- Assisting with tidying and dishwasher resetting where needed To apply, you MUST have the following experience, attitude, and qualifications:
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- Current National Police Check
- Minimum 3 years of professional nanny/childcare experience
- Minimum 2 Australian child-related references
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Warm, proactive, calm, and positive personality
