- Play a key role in the implementation of a new Maintenance Information System (MIS), supporting maintenance operations, planning and compliance across the Network Aviation fleet

MIS Implementation Specialist – Technical Operations plays a critical role in supporting the accurate implementation, integrity and effective use of the Maintenance Information System (MIS) across Network Aviation. This role supports Maintenance Operations and Maintenance Planning functions, including long‑term, intermediate and day‑of‑operations planning, defect management, maintenance deferrals and compliance oversight. You will ensure the MIS is embedded as a trusted source of fleet and maintenance data, supporting informed operational decision‑making and regulatory compliance. Working closely with Maintenance Operations, Planning, Technical Records, IT, Engineering Support Systems, system vendors and external partners, you will contribute to MIS process and workflow definition, system integration, reporting, dashboards and data integrity activities, supporting a successful transition to business‑as‑usual operations. You will also act as a key system super‑user/SME, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation across MIS‑enabled maintenance activities. Key Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in aviation maintenance, maintenance planning, maintenance watch, defect management, fleet management, engineering support or a CAMO/AMO workplace.
- Sound experience working with maintenance information systems or aviation data platforms, ideally within a system implementation or reporting environment.
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance data, configuration control and maintenance planning concepts within an MIS environment.
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement practices, including defining and reviewing work processes.
- High attention to detail with demonstrated experience validating, reconciling and maintaining technical maintenance data.
- Experience with maintenance systems and reporting tools (e.g. Maintenix, JasperSoft, Power BI or similar).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work across operational, technical and IT teams.
- Well‑developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a project‑based environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline (desirable). Benefits and Culture
