We are seeking an experienced Safety & Quality Officer for an immediate start for a transport company.

The main responsibility of the role will be:

Implementation and auditing of the Safety Management System.

Undertaking and Assisting with Incident investigations and preparation of safety reports.

Manage and maintain HSE registers and compiling weekly/monthly SH&Q; reports.

Ensuring compliance with SH&Q; policies and procedures.

Discussing, monitoring and assisting the staff in the protected delivery of in office activities.

Provision of sound technical SH&Q; advice to site teams.

Focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of initiatives to effectively manage HS risk.

Relevant WHS qualifications (Certificate IV or higher).

Knowledge of relevant State WHS

Solid ability to lead and manage change and ability to influence managers and other stakeholders.

Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

Effective collaborator with excellent communication skills.

C Class Driver’s License.

Current 1st Aid Certificate

Police Clearance

Passport and ability to travel at short notice.
