Location: Perth, Western Australia

Roster: 4D/4RNR/4N/4RNR (12-hour shifts)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team in a full time capacity. The Security Officer will be responsible for providing tactical personnel support and ensuring the safety and security of our employees and visitors to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized access to suspicious activity

Monitor and operate security systems and equipment, including CCTV cameras and alarms

Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances

Provide support to the operational team by implementing security protocols and procedures

Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to security operations

Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches or incidents and prepare detailed reports

Assist in the development and implementation of security plans and risk assessments

Provide excellent customer service while always maintaining a skilled demeanor.

Qualifications and Experience:

Cert II Security Officer is desirable

Proven experience as a Security Officer or as a Control Monitoring Room Operator would be preferable in a tactical or personnel support capacity

Cert III in Investigations, Cert II CPO, Cert IV Security Management/Risk Analysis are advantageous

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and make quick, sound decisions

Proficient in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV monitoring and access control

Physical fitness and the capability to perform patrol duties for extended periods

Understanding of emergency response procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred.
