Role Opportunity
Lead Structural Engineer prospect with a well-regarded consultancy, taking technical ownership of structural design scopes and supporting the delivery of projects across mining and heavy industrial facilities. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams, leading a small structural team, and engaging directly with clients and key stakeholders.

Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia.
Lead level experience required within a consultancy environment
Robust experience with mining plant structures design and non process infrastructure
Strong stakeholder management skills & able to complete project delivery tasks
Previous site experience
Strong understanding of industry guidelines
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver structural design for minerals and heavy industry projects, including mining structures, non-process infrastructure and associated facilities
Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications
Ccoordinate work packages with internal teams and external stakeholders
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Contribute to design reviews, constructability assessments and risk management
Support project delivery through all phases including concept, feasibility, detailed design and construction support
Engage with clients to provide trusted technical advice and solutions
