FIFO Health & Wellness Coordinator (Perth)

FIFO Health & Wellness Coordinator IronMerge People are currently seeking experienced Health & Wellness Coordinators for casual FIFO opportunities across remote mining villages and sites throughout Western Australia. These positions are FIFO from Perth Airport only and suited to candidates passionate about promoting health, fitness, wellbeing and positive lifestyle initiatives in remote environments. This role will involve coordinating wellness activities, running fitness classes, supporting recreational programs and creating a positive camp culture for workforce wellbeing. Opportunities are available for ongoing casual work throughout 2026. What’s on Offer:

- Casual FIFO positions on a 2:1 roster
- $42.88 – $45.50 per hour + applicable loadings
- Superannuation on all hours worked
- Flights, meals and accommodation provided
- Weekly pay – every Thursday
- Ongoing opportunities across WA mining and resource projects
- FIFO from Perth Airport only – WA residents only Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and deliver group fitness and wellness activities onsite
- Manage and deliver site events such as fundraisers & quiz nights
- Promote positive health, wellbeing and lifestyle initiatives across camp environments
- Conduct fitness classes, recreational activities and wellness challenges
- Support injury prevention and general health promotion programs
- Maintain gym and recreational facilities to a high standard
- Encourage workforce engagement and participation in wellness activities
- Provide a high level of customer service and professional communication Requirements for the Successful Candidate:

- Australian Certificate III & IV in Fitness or relevant qualification in Health, Sport or Exercise Science
- Previous experience in a FIFO or remote camp setting highly regarded
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current West Australian Driver’s Licence
- Valid Working With Children (WWC) Card or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- National Police Clearance within 6 months or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible attitude and willingness to work in remote locations
