Change and Communications Manager (Perth)

Seeking a Change and Communications Manager Your current company We are seeking an experienced Change and Communications Manager to lead end‑to‑end change and communications activities across major digital initiatives for a government organisation. This role is critical in supporting the successful adoption of new digital services by government agencies, industry and the Western Australian community through transparent, coordinated and user‑focused communication and engagement. Working closely with program and project teams, delivery partners and community stakeholders, you will translate complex digital and technical change into simple, trusted and accessible communications. You will also design and deliver structured change and engagement approaches that support behavioural change, capability uplift and stakeholder confidence throughout digital transformation programs.

Your new role Change and Communications
- Develop and deliver integrated change and communications strategies aligned to program objectives and brand guidelines.
- Translate complex digital, policy or technical changes into clear, accessible and user‑centred communications for diverse audiences.
- Create high‑quality communication materials including fact sheets, FAQs, presentations, web content and project updates.
- Ensure all communications are accurate, accessible, inclusive and brand compliant. Stakeholder and Community Engagement
- Design and implement stakeholder engagement plans across agencies, industry, community groups and citizens.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners, community organisations, industry representatives and contractors.
- Plan, deliver and facilitate engagement activities including briefings, information sessions, workshops and consultations. Issues, Feedback and Reporting
- Manage stakeholder and community feedback, including sensitive issues, enquiries and complaints, in line with project protocols.
- Maintain engagement logs, risk registers and reporting artefacts.
- Identify emerging risks or resistance to change and work proactively with project teams to address them.
- Provide regular reporting to project governance forums and senior stakeholders. Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with project managers, product teams and external suppliers to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated delivery.
- Support the identification and delivery of community benefit initiatives linked to digital programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of change and communications practices across digital initiatives. What you'll need to succeed

- Demonstrated experience leading change management and communications for complex programs or projects, ideally within digital, technology or service transformation environments.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver communications and engagement strategies across multiple stakeholder groups, including government, industry and the community.
- Experience planning and delivering stakeholder engagement and consultation activities such as workshops, forums or information sessions.
- Strong experience managing community and stakeholder feedback, including sensitive or high‑profile issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing clear, high‑quality materials for diverse audiences. What you'll get in return
