Marketing Principal Data Scientist (Perth)

In this Principal Data Scientist role, you will join the Data & Analytics Customer Decisioning and Data Science team that’s doubling down on customer obsession. Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across Marketing Data Science initiatives.
- Lead the adoption and operationalisation of Gen AI and Agentic AI capabilities across Group Data Science initiatives.
- Design scalable AI-powered customer engagement and decisioning solutions that improve personalisation, automation and customer outcomes.
- Drive experimentation and innovation in advanced machine learning, LLMs and autonomous AI systems.
- Identify opportunities to automate analytical, operational and marketing workflows using AI agents and intelligent orchestration frameworks.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and define scalable patterns for enterprise adoption. Qualifications
- Experience designing and deploying Gen AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and prompt engineering techniques.
- Experience building AI-powered customer engagement solutions such as conversational AI, recommendation systems, next-best-action or hyper-personalisation capabilities.
- Experience designing or integrating Agentic AI workflows to automate decisioning, orchestration and operational processes.
- Hands‑on experience with modern AI frameworks and tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, orchestration frameworks or LLMOps platforms.
- Experience leveraging advanced machine learning techniques including deep learning, reinforcement learning, recommendation systems and experimentation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark and Spark ML.
