Technical Director – Civil Engineer (Dams) . Responsibilities

Assist the Business Group Leader by contributing to business planning. Collaborate with local and national colleagues to drive a strong safety culture. Win, manage and deliver projects, whilst building trusted relationships with our clients. Lead key proposals and assist with resource allocation. Deliver dams and tailings engineering projects for mining companies, industrial clients and power companies. Mentor, train and invest in the development of team members. Qualifications

A relevant bachelor’s engineering degree, Project Management and/or MBA highly regarded. Minimum 10 years of industry experience, proven experience in an engineering consultancy and/or utility with well‑established local industry contacts. Engaging communication skills & strategic problem‑solving capability, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients. Sound knowledge of dams engineering over the full project lifecycle encompassing planning, design, construction and operation. An enthusiastic, supportive, and motivating leader who can get the best out of the team. Experience in winning work and managing multi‑disciplinary medium to large scale dams engineering projects. Engineer of Record experience advantageous. A natural communicator and strategic thinker who is proactive, professional and team-oriented.
