We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Consultant who is passionate about delivering high-quality technicaloutcomes. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of underground and open pit operations, providing opportunities to lead technical projects, mentor others, and influence geotechnical best practice across the business. About the Role Reporting to the Senior Manager Underground, you will provide specialist geotechnicalexpertiseto support operational performance, governance activities, technicalstudiesand business growth initiatives. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you will deliver practical solutions that enhance safety,productivityand long-term business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Deliver technical geotechnical support across underground and open pit mining operations. Conduct geotechnical audits, technicalreviewsand site assessments. Review and improve Ground Control Management Plans (GCMPs), supportstandardsand Trigger Action Response Plans (TARPs). Support stope and slope design,crownand sill pillar stability assessments, and overbreak investigations. Collaborate with site teams to implement and improve ground control practices. Participate in incident investigations and safety improvement workshops. Identifyand drive continuous improvement opportunities aligned with industry best practice. Contribute to business growth initiatives and client development activities. Mentor and coach team members, supporting technical capability development across the business. Maintain strong working relationships with clients,stakeholdersand project teams. About You: You are a technically capable and commercially minded geotechnical professional who enjoys solving complex mining challenges while building strong client relationships. To Be Successful You Will Have: Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical
Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 7 years' geotechnical engineering experience within the mining industry. Experience across a range of mining methods. Exposure to both underground and open pit mining environments (highly regarded). Strong site-based operational experience and the ability to work across multiple operations. Excellent technical report writing and communication skills. Advancedproficiencywith industry software includingRocscienceSuite, FLAC and Map3D.
