- Permanent, full time position located in Osborne Park
- Salary Range $89,003 – $93,257 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience

- Employee Assistance Program for you and immediate family members About the Role The Waste Contracts Officer is responsible for the effective management and oversight of the City’s waste and recycling contracts, ensuring high‑quality, and cost‑effective service delivery. The role also contributes to the planning and continuous improvement of waste services, including assessing Development Applications from a waste and recycling perspective. The position provides specialist advice and support to internal and external stakeholders to support the City’s Waste Strategy and operational outcomes. What we’re Looking For The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in waste or a related industry
- Considerable knowledge and practical experience in administering the WARR Act and other legislation relevant to the waste industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract management principles and practices
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes
- Highly developed written communication skills, including the ability to prepare high level reports regarding waste management and related environmental issues
