Description
About the Role Spend your day making a positive difference. Our support staff provide emotional, social and practical support to people with Autism and their families, to increase opportunities for them to live the life they choose. Children and young people may need our assistance before and/or after school, at weekends or during school holidays. Adults may need help with day‑to‑day activities, such as building social connections through sport or community groups, assisting with the development of daily living skills or enhancing job readiness skills. The people we support live in various suburbs across the greater Perth metro area. About You Consistency is key; we are looking for people with on‑going availability to work between 10 and 30 hours per week. We also have opportunities for overnight support on a regular or ad‑hoc basis. We need people with an engaging and supportive approach, who understand that each person is different and have the confidence and passion to empower others to achieve their goals. Our staff come from varying backgrounds; if you are currently working in the disability industry or in an education setting, if you are studying an Allied Health subject or have lived experience of supporting individuals with Autism and share our passion, we would love to hear from you! Requirements To join our team, you’ll be required to complete the required clearances including a Medical, National Police Clearance and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
