Auto Electrician – Bellevue (Perth)

About the Role Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Auto Electrician professionals to join the team on a full‑time basis, working a 7/7 FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the mine. What Will Your Day‑to‑Day Look Like?
- Diagnose, maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems on underground mobile equipment
- Fault‑find and repair wiring, starting and charging systems, batteries, and control circuits
- Install and maintain safety systems, lighting, communications, and machine telematics
- Conduct inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment availability
- Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs in confined and challenging underground environments
- Complete maintenance documentation and follow all site safety and compliance requirements Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes
- Previous experience working as an Auto Electrician in underground mining
- Robust understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards
- Experience operating within production‑focused underground environments
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow mine plans and procedures
- Current and valid Australian driver’s licence
- Relevant tickets, licences and qualifications for the role
