Senior Procurement Officer – Subcontracts (Perth)

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the sourcing of various subcontract works/requirements/packages.
- Ensures that all procurement processes adhere to group policies and procedures, meet project requirements.
- Process all the assigned requisitions.
- Prepares bid evaluations, negotiates with suppliers purchase orders and formalizes agreements.
- Complies with Webuild Group policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
- Supports the Commodity Manager to define the strategy.
- Support the Project meeting the overall procurement to deliver value, reduce risk and enhance quality of services provided to all stakeholders. Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Specialist Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role preferred.
- Experience in operating a procurement process end to end.
- Knowledge and experience with contemporary procurement systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects working with sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical ability. Benefits
