Production Superintendent (City of Perth)

Overview Production Superintendent – Wagerup Refinery (150 km south of Perth). Monday‑Friday day shift roster. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop supervisors and frontline leaders to deliver safe and reliable production outcomes.
- Champion a safety‑first and inclusive culture where people feel empowered to contribute and improve.
- Translate operational objectives into clear plans, expectations and measurable performance outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving systemic issues impacting people, equipment and production.

- Proven experience leading large teams in industrial, manufacturing, processing, mining or energy environments.
- Strong leadership capability, including coaching, performance management and talent development.
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and solving complex operational challenges.
- Strong commitment to safety and building inclusive, psychologically safe teams.
- Engineering, trade or relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
- Experience working within structured operational or production systems.
- Exposure to asset‑intensive operations with maintenance and reliability interfaces. Location Wagerup Refinery – one of the world’s most environmentally and technologically advanced alumina refineries, producing approximately 2.9 million metric tons of alumina annually.
