We are seeking dedicated and safety-conscious Vegetation Workers (e.g. HV Workers / Climbing Arborists / EWP Operators / Squirrel Operators / Chipper Truck Drivers) to join our team. This is an exciting prospect to work in a vital role that includes all facets of Urban Tree Management. Key Responsibilities
- Safety Awareness and Compliance: Maintain compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards and adhere to all relevant Codes of Practice, including electrical safety when working around live power lines
- Health & Safety Responsibility: Take personal responsibility for your own safety and the safety of your team
- Quality Assurance: Deliver work to meet contractual obligations, company standards, and customer expectations
- Hazard Identification & Action: Identify hazards proactively and stop work if uncontrolled risks are present
- Supervisor Support: Work closely with supervisors to ensure high quality outcomes
- Professionalism & Housekeeping: Maintain professional standards and a clean, organised worksite
- Pre start Equipment Checks: Conduct checks on all vehicles, machinery, and equipment prior to use What We’re Looking For
- Safety Focused: Strong awareness of safety and electrical risks
- Detail Oriented: Commitment to high quality workmanship
- Proactive & Responsible: Ability to identify and resolve safety issues
- Team Player: Strong collaboration with supervisors and colleagues Experience & Qualifications
- First Aid / CPR Certification
- Construction White Card
- Cert II in ESI: Powerline Vegetation Control (UET)
- EDD UETTDRRF08 / EWP Rescue: UETDRRF002
- Chainsaw Ticket
- Experience working near live power lines is advantageous
- Arboriculture qualification or equivalent experience advantageous Why Join Us
