Underground Maintenance Trainer (Perth)

This position is located in Perth. The role involves an 8/6 roster. Responsibilities
- Train and assess Byrnecut employees and associated personnel to comply with the requirements of the Project Safety / Environmental Management Plan and organisational policies and procedures;
- Assist in the development of the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees and associated personnel in accordance with organisational policies and procedures;
- Complete safety and competency assessment documentation and records in accordance with the requirements of the INX Safety Management System;
- Adhere to the requirements of the Project Safety / Environmental Management Plan and actively promote and maintain a positive safety culture and continuous safety improvement at site;
- Actively participate in risk assessments and site‑specific procedures development as required by the Project Manager;
- Consistently promote organisational policies, procedures and objectives to site employees and associated personnel as required;
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment that empowers every participant. Requirements
- Current C Class Western Australian Driver’s Licence;
- TAE Certificate IV in Training & Assessment;
- Relevant Maintenance Trade Qualification;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in mobile maintenance, heavy diesel, or mechanical fitting within a mining environment;
- Experience in an underground maintenance setting is preferred but not essential;
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems, isolation procedures, and mobile equipment operations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Computer proficiency in training systems, databases, and Microsoft applications;
