Logistics Specialist (FIFO) (Perth)

An opportunity has become available for a Logistics Specialist to join a rapidly growing defence and aerospace organisation supporting ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance) aviation operations across Australia. This is not a traditional warehouse or corporate supply chain role. This position sits within a highly operational aviation environment supporting deployed aircraft operations, maintenance teams, mission readiness and critical logistics support functions. The role can be based out of Brisbane or Perth, with regular deployment to Learmonth, WA on a 14 days on / 14 days off roster. The Role You will play a key role supporting operational readiness across aviation and ISR programs, including:
- Managing inventory, materials and aviation-related equipment
- Coordinating procurement of aircraft parts, tools and ground support equipment
- Managing freight, shipping and logistics activities across domestic and international operations
- Supporting deployed operational environments in remote/austere locations
- Managing customs, import/export and ITAR-related processes
- Working closely with aircraft maintainers, operational teams and program stakeholders
- Supporting inventory accuracy, accountability and reporting
- Assisting with logistics planning and operational coordination activities About You We are looking for someone with a strong operational logistics mindset who is comfortable working in fast-paced and highly accountable environments. Ideal backgrounds may include

- Military logistics You will ideally bring:
- Experience supporting operational or aviation logistics functions
- Exposure to procurement, freight or inventory coordination
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously in deployed environments
- ERP system exposure (AMOS or D365 advantageous)
- Understanding of regulated or compliance-driven environments
- Forklift / dangerous goods certifications advantageous What's on Offer
