Junior Project Manager - Commercial Plumbing (Perth)

Join a Growing Commercial Plumbing Contractor We are a rapidly growing commercial plumbing and hydraulic contractor delivering projects across Perth and surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our team and assist in the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in project management within the construction industry. You will work closely with our Directors and Project Managers, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery. About the Role Reporting directly to the management team, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management of commercial plumbing projects from commencement through to completion
- Coordinating labour, materials, suppliers and subcontractors
- Attending site meetings and liaising with builders, consultants and clients
- Reviewing drawings and project documentation
- Tracking project progress, variations and budgets
- Procurement of materials and equipment
- Assisting with project scheduling and programming
- Supporting project administration and documentation
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in construction, plumbing or a related trade environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Current Australian Driver's Licence Desirable
- Plumbing trade background
- Experience in commercial construction
- Exposure to project coordination or project management
- Understanding of construction drawings and specifications What We Offer
