About AME Asset Management Engineers (AME) is a leading provider of asset management, inspection, testing and training services to the mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors. AME assist our clients in meeting regulatory requirements for their plant and equipment. About the Role Due to continued growth and demand for our services, AME are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Eddy Current Technicians that are keen to advance their careers in the field of plant inspection. The role is based in Perth with travel to regional WA as required (FIFO & DIDO). Key Accountabilities
- Perform inspections and testing on mobile and fixed plant.
- Produce high quality detailed technical reports.
- Provide technical support and advice related to plant compliance. Essential Criteria
- Minimum ISO Level 2 EC.
- Minimum ISO Level 1 or ISO Level 2 (UT).
- 5 years NDT technician experience.
- Current WA driving licence.
- An effective communicator, both in written and verbal communication.
- An effective time manager and committed to achieving deadlines.
- Adaptable with working hours.
- Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia. Desirable
- API510 / AICIP certification.
- Experience working within the mining sector.
- Understanding of all applicable Australian Standards, the Work Health Safety Act, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations and Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations. On Offer
