Description
Join the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID) in a key compliance role supporting safe and effective delivery of major transport projects. This position undertakes compliance audits across all OMTID projects, including contractors and sub‑contractors, identifying risks, non‑compliance and opportunities to improve systems and practices. You will manage audit programs, track corrective actions, report findings to management and work closely with stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner. The role also involves inspections, record‑keeping and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance and minimise risk across the Public Transport Authority. About You! To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Relevant tertiary Lead Auditor qualification (or progress towards), or Internal Auditor accreditation with substantial practical audit experience, including risk‑based audit approaches.
- Strong experience delivering audit services, with proven ability to analyse and interpret legislation, regulations, policies, procedures and instructions.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with the ability to clearly convey findings, recommendations and risks at all levels.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, planning and organisational skills, enabling objective, transparent audits to be conducted with integrity while meeting deadlines and minimising risk.
